Within its 68 square miles, Washington D.C. concentrates some of the country’s most deeply symbolic landmarks and houses our most central governing bodies. In turn, it draws in the devoted– those who believe in democracy, those who believe in a cause, those who believe in a God. Here’s where I found religion, both civil and traditionally spiritual, in the Capital.
